Financial Analyst - Valuation, full-time or paid internship

Financial Analyst

Seeking a full-time Financial Analyst to join our Business Valuation group. While prior business valuation experience is not required, candidates should have familiarity with financial statements, possess proficient analytical skills, and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication ability. The position includes the opportunity for a paid internship during the fall semester (for December 2024 graduates) or both fall and spring semesters (for May 2025 graduates).

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the preparation of business valuation reports for corporate clients, including analyses utilizing multiple valuation methods and approaches.
2. Conduct industry, economic, and company research and analysis for client engagements and document research and conclusions in concise, well-written narratives.
3. Coordinate with clients to gather and compile necessary information.
4. Maintain an organized system for managing client information and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and consistency of written conclusions.
5. Manage proprietary valuation databases.
6. Continuously develop and expand knowledge and understanding of business valuation industry standards, concepts, and methodologies.
7. Work towards obtaining the education and qualifications necessary to earn relevant professional certifications.
